What will happen when you come and see me?
We can meet online or face-to-face – whatever is most convenient and comfortable for you.
During this time, you’ll also experience a relaxing hypnosis session. So, if you’ve never had hypnosis before, this is a great opportunity for you to find out just how natural, comfortable, and relaxing it feels.
After the introductory session, I’ll send you a free hypno-meditation for you to listen to, to help you relax and feel good, and also to prepare you for your first therapy session.
Therapy sessions last an hour each, are preferably weekly, and I usually recommend that you have four, with a follow-up session about six weeks later to make sure that all’s well.
I want to offer you a thorough service, so it’s a bit like seeing a dentist – there’s a first session to see what the problem is and get some ‘x-rays’ to assess what’s going on out of sight, then a couple of sessions to do the detailed work, and then another session to clean and polish and a final check-up to finish off properly.
Between each session, I send you a specially tailored hypno-meditation to help you prepare for the next one, and to help you to stay calm and relaxed as well.
*If, for any reason, you don’t want to tell me what the problem is, you don’t have to. It’s absolutely possible to do this type of hypnotherapy without knowing any of the details – it’s called ‘content-free therapy’. The only thing I need to know is what sort of problem it is – a phobia, habit change, pain management, etc. You can tell me exactly as much, or as little, as you’re completely comfortable with.
Your introduction is a full, hour long session – either online or face-to-face – where we can both get to know each other. You can tell me as much or as little as you feel comfortable with about the problem you’d like to resolve, and the outcome you’d like to achieve. At the same time, you can ask me anything you’d like to know about hypnosis and hypnotherapy, and what to expect from your future sessions. During this time, you’ll experience a relaxing hypnosis session, and afterwards, I’ll send you a hypno-meditation to help you prepare for your first therapy session.
All sessions can be done online or in person, whichever is most convenient for you. They’re an hour long and are usually weekly. I recommend four sessions so that we can go through a full, structured process to resolve your problem with a follow-up session about six weeks later. It’s possible that you may need more than that, but generally, that’s perfect for most people and most problems.
